Advanced Air Design has been providing numerous general contractors and homeowners in Ontario with efficient and reliable HVAC designs for decades. Owned and managed by Dan Mercer, the company has consistently helped its customers find the ideal heating and cooling solutions for their projects, ensuring optimal performance, safety and compliance with local codes.
Extensive Experience
Dan is a true expert in the field of HVAC. With more than 30 years working in the industry, Dan has tackled numerous projects and accumulated vast experience installing, duct work, natural gas and a/c units in many residential properties. Additionally, he has also provided service and equipment/system commissioning and complete system analysis for multiple clients in Ontario. With an extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, Dan has become excellent at troubleshooting and consulting on complex and basic projects.
A Fully Certified Professional
Dan's long career has given him the chance to obtain multiple qualifications, including BCIN- HVAC House and Designer Legal. He has also obtained HRAI certifications, including RASDT, RHDT, RV9.32, RHLG, RASD, RCOM, RRHD and DTRS. Additionally, he holds certificates in G2 Gas Fitter, Residential Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic (JP), and Residential (Low-Rise) Sheet Metal Installer (JP).
A Dedicated and Enthusiastic Professional
Dan is dedicated to sharing his knowledge and skills with the next generation. His enthusiasm and mentorship have helped train numerous young people in the HVAC trade through his business. Recently, Dan has taken on a part-time role teaching new Gas Fitters at HiMark Occupational Skills Training Centre Ltd., which he does with passion and enthusiasm.
